There seems to be an asymmetry in the USGS DEM driver, just wondering if it's supposed to be that way or not. Specifically, when writing, elevations are written out as is. When reading, however, they are scaled by the Z resolution value. So roundtripping using a Z res other than 1.0 does not produce equivalent results. Ray
