[Gdal-dev] Building with Xerces 2.7.0, 2.8.0 and 3.0.0

Folks,

This post is supposed to follow up two similar threads started today and
reporting problems with building GDAL + Xerces support:

After some tests, I confirm these problems, so I reported a ticket:

http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/ticket/1799

I'm fixing it now and testing GDAL with Xerces 2.7.0, 2.8.0 and 3.0.0.

Anyone who is interested in this issue, please
monitor the Ticket #1799 for news.

I hope to bring a fix very soon.
