Tamas,

It would require one of:
  o Replacing (ie. rewriting) the code.
  o Getting permission to relicense or at least a clear and compatible
    license declaration from the original copyright holder
  o Or verifying that the original was licensed in a compatible fashion.

It is complicated due to the fact that the original authors are likely
to be hard to track down.  I don't recall who at ESRI I received some
of the code from.  Another chunk is modified ATL OLE DB classes - who do
I talk to - Microsoft?  The third is third part example code.  Presumably
intended to be modified and used but hard to track down and verify now.
