[gdal-dev] Windows nmake.opt - debug default?

I downloaded the gdal src zip file a couple days ago and noticed a couple of
minor things, but thought I'd mention them in case anyone wanted to change
them.

- When editing my nmake.opt file I noticed that it was set to compile a
debug build by default. I wasn't sure if this was intentional.

- I received an error when trying to compile using the Solution File
(makegdal80.sln) for Visual Studio 2005 under Vista. I didn't investigate
why this happened as the command line compilation still worked great and is
sufficient for my purposes. I'm only mentioning it in-case someone is
maintaining these build files and is looking for beta type feedback. I know
that they are still relatively new to the src release package. I've
attached the buildlog.htm file in case it is of value. I didn't do any
reading on how to use the new .sln file, so I may very well have just blown
right past a pre-build configuration step.
