[gdal-dev] GMT driver for Ogr2Ogr

Hey folks,

The basics,

Working on ubuntu.

Installed gdal-bin from repositories

I am trying the following command

ogr2ogr -f GMT output.gmt proponent_locations.shp


and I get the following error

Unable to find driver `GMT'.
The following drivers are available:
  -> `ESRI Shapefile'
  -> `MapInfo File'
  -> `UK .NTF'
...
...
...


When I do an :

So are we supposed to be seeing the GMT library in here?

I have GMT installed and working

Any ideas?
