[gdal-dev] Odd things after using ogr2ogr

Dear users,

I have tried to find out for several hours a misterious thing.

I have downloaded data from Open Street Map. With Quantum GIS I selected some streets
and exported that selection to a new shapefile (selektion_roads).
Eveything seems to be fine.

With ogrinfo I get the following output:

http://www.selbstverwaltung-bundesweit.de/test/selektion_roads_4326.PNG

Than I reprojected these data with ogr2ogr.

I did like that:"ogr2ogr -t_srs epsg:31467 E:/selektion_roads_31467.shp E:/selektion_roads.shp

Again I did "ogrinfo" and everything looks fine:

http://www.selbstverwaltung-bundesweit.de/test/selektion_roads_31467.PNG

then the weird thing start. I Load "selektion_roads_4326" in Quantum GIS (under the 4326-projection)
and after that "selektion_roads_31467" (here I use on the fly the 4326-projection)
but the layer don`t lay over each other, there is a mismatch of about 50 meter.

See her:

How can this be? Might this be a bug in reprojection?

Thank you for any hints in advance, Kai
