[gdal-dev] Fwd: configuring gdal to support hdf

When doing ./configure are you adding the proper flag for the hdf 
version you plan to use (--with-hdf4 and --with-hdf5)? Also have you 
tried setting the locations of the library's by doing 
--with-hdf4=<library location>?
