Well, it looks like there is interest for that feature ;-) You know, when you
don't need personnaly a stuff, it generally looks a bit too specialized...
Anyone is free/encouraged to come with a proposal, or better a patch !
This raises quite a few questions :
* what is a standard grid ?
* what syntax would you imagine to pass to gdal utilities to define how you want
the rounding ?
* do you want to round/ceil/floor ? or so that the adjusted extent includes the
exact extent ? or so that the adjusted extent is contained inside the exact
extent ?
* which gdal utilities would be impacted ?
* ... and is there a concensus among the interested users ;-) ?
