[gdal-dev] [GDALBUILDVRT]Syntax to do tiles

Hi

I would like to reshape a ECW pictures in several tiles.
Would it be possible to translate ECW in VRT; cut the VRT in tiles, and
re-translate all VRT in ECW?
And if it's possible, what are the syntax for those commands?
