Hi Even,

thanks. I have now done that. Could only do that via "Add External Class
Folder" and by choosing "C:\OSGeo4W\bin".

In addition to that, I expanded the "JRE System Library" entry (which is set
to "C:\OSGeo4W") and set the "Native Library location" to "C:\OSGeo4W\bin"
(which is where those DLLs are located).

I even removed the System.loadLibrary("gdal18"), since you said it is
redundant.

But I'm still getting the same error.

What could the problem be? Why "HasThreadSupport"? And what library loads
failed? I though the OSGeo4W installer has already taken care of downloading
dependent libraries. If they are found but still fail to be loaded, why so?
