[gdal-dev] GDAL/OGR 1.10.0 Beta1

Folks,

A  month or more later than I intended, I have prepared
a GDAL/OGR 1.10 first beta release.

The NEWS for the release can be found at the top of:

  http://svn.osgeo.org/gdal/trunk/gdal/NEWS

Please do some testing and file bugs for issues that
need to be fixed.   Also feel free to make noise on
existing bugs that ought to be fixed before 1.10 is
released.

I hope to do another beta or two and then a release
candidate.
