[gdal-dev] gcps2wld not finding GCPs

Hi,
I am a beginner in GDAL and try to find out what works and what does not
work. I have installed the new ver. 1.10 on Windows XP SP3 and I am
especially interested in the new MAP driver. With the gcps2wld.py utility I
found a behaviour which I cannot explain. On some .map files it prints out
an worldfile as expected, on others it does not:
If I do
gcps2wld.py L-37-143-A.map
the answer is
No GCPs found on file C:\maps\50000\L-37-143-A.map
In contrast to this
gdalinfo -noct L-37-143-A.map
prints out a geotransform
GeoTransform =
4563916.403948909, 4.777318174663853, 4.051208486634609e-013
5487310.512072737, -8.102416973269218e-013, -4.760840630639994
gdal_translate -of PNG -co WORLDFILE=YES L-37-143-A.map dummy.png
results in a worldfile
4.7773181747
-0.0000000000
0.0000000000
-4.7608406306
4563918.7926079957
5487308.1316524222
which differs by half a pixel, but this is not my point. May be it can be
explained by point vs area style.
My question is: why doesn't gcps2wld find any gcps in the appended map file?
