[gdal-dev] RuntimeError no COPY in progress

A strange bug somewhere between OGR and PostgreSQL(?)

I've created a layer with a geometry and id fields. The layer gets 
created ok. After inserting 500 features I get the error:

RuntimeError no COPY in progress

PostgreSQL  logs this:

"rannat" is the new table.

Any ideas? Am I inserting features too fast??
