[gdal-dev] GDAL 2.0 as Virtual Machine

Hi all,

after GDAL 2.0 is out for several week I really want to check out the new
features! But after abortive tries to install it via OSGeo4Mac and OSGeo4Win
I just wonder whether there is a VM around with a pre-installed GDAL 2.0.
Unfortunately OSGeo4Live doesn't provide one.
I also think that providing such a VM would be a chance for other GIS
developers to check out new features and its compatibility without crashing
their local environment.

Any hints?
