Hi Pero,

I previously wrote the letter to this mailing list, what we expected
from the GSoC students. We expected from students who interested in GSoC:
1. To close some GDAL ticket and send pull request (the list of
recommended tickets was in letter) - this is need to us to understand
the student's skills and some experience with GDAL sources.
2. To describe the GSoC idea in details.

Some students disappeared not starting the tickets fixing, some after
beginning work on tickets, some successfully fulfilled all the tasks.

There is one student who did everything what I wrote and wants to work
on GSoC idea - DWG driver for GDAL. Also his skills match the level of
this task.
Unfortunately you came so late. Usually students who plan to participate
in GSoC begins the work with community more earlier (several months).

Best regards,
     Dmitry
