But I'm really a newbie.

I think I must add some option to "./configure
--prefix=/path/to/install/prefix [options]", but which option?

Is it something like "./configure --LD_LIBRARY_PATH =/path/to/libsqlite3"?

And a last stupid question: how to find the path of the installed
libsqlite3? With locate?
