OK, so now you can and should use https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal to track
developement and file new tickets/issues
Trac ticket creation has been disabled. You can still modify existing tickets.

One side effect of pushing the rewritten commit messages is that all still
opened pull requests (~20) in the previous mirror have been forced closed (not
surprising since the sha1sum of the base commits have been modified). So if
you had pending work, please rebase it on top of the current
https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal and issue a new pull request. Forks of the
previous https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal will probably have to be recreated from
scratch, or "rebased" to the current one as well.

The cron job that triggers website refresh has now been updated.

GDAL SVN committers that don't have yet push rights to github, please submit a
pull request to gdal/COMMITTERS file with a new line with your contact
information, so your github nickname can be added to the authorized list of
people with push rights (if you already have push rights, please also update
COMMITTERS with your info)

I've updated a few things on Trac wiki to point to github. If you still see
references to svn or Trac for new tickets, you're welcome to fix them.

I've initiated
https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md
Needs more love.

Kyle, you'll likely need to update your job for Coverity Scan.
