These files can be downloaded from NOAA CLASS at <a target="_blank" href="http://www.class.ncdc.noaa.gov/saa/products/welcome">http://www.class.ncdc.noaa.gov/saa/products/welcome</a>.</span><br>I could not read the files directly into GRASS and have thought to extract just the SST channel (dataset) from the hdf into a gtif that is readable by GRASS.<br><br>Have someone on this list used the GDAL utilities to manipulate CW-hdf files (warp and export one band into tif with full projection info)? The affine transformation coeffs, included in the metadata, seems to be unreachable by GDAL utils.<br><br>Regards,<br>Yehya<br><br><br></div></div><br>
