Martin,<br><br>GDAL cannot the tags you want in the tiff file.<br><br>You may be able to set the tags using tiffset or some other application through python. Unfortunately this is not relevant to our situation. We are looking to write<br>
specific custom tiff tags in the file, tags of which we know the name, the type,<br>
the id number and the value.<br>
<br>
For example the tag<br>
NTD_Magic<br>
which has 40000 as Id number, is an ascii field and hold "MAGIC" as value.<br>
<br>
Using the standard setmetadata function in gdal writes the tag inside this xml<br>
GDALinfo object, which is not what we want...<br>
