Hi Frank,<br><br>Yes, I am modernizing some of the testing scripts for PostGISRaster, and adding write support in the near future. I've been in touch with and am coordinating with Jorge.<br><br>I think it was just the test script that used the old name, btw. The driver is truly called "PostGISRaster", just the test script wasn't up-to-date.<br>

Renaming the driver at this point should be ok. The<br>
driver name is mainly used for creation operations so<br>
if we don't yet support creation it isn't going to break<br>
existing scripts when it changes.<br>

If it would break a lot of stuff, I'd have suggested registering<br>
it twice - once under each name.<br>

I'm looking forward to improvements. I presume you are<br>
in communication with Jorge who has done most of the<br>
previous work, right? I think he mentioned the two of you<br>
are collaborating.<br>
