There is a good article about ortho on Russian (<a href="http://gis-lab.info/qa/orbview3-ortho-gdal.html" target="_blank">http://gis-lab.info/qa/orbview3-ortho-gdal.html</a>).
You can google trnslate it. Also there is a translation (<a href="http://wiki.gis-lab.info/w/OrbView-3_Orthorectification" target="_blank">http://wiki.gis-lab.info/w/OrbView-3_Orthorectification</a>)
but not finished.<br>
I haven't tested Spot yet, but I know kompsat-2imagery were
otrthorectified successful, but not from the box.<br>
