I installed GDAL with PostGIS on CentOS 6.5 using this

[bishop@centos ~]$ uname -r<br>
2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.x86_64<br>
[bishop@centos ~]$ gdalinfo --version<br>
GDAL 1.9.2, released 2012/10/08<br>
