<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">Basically by setting -near 0, you say that nearblack should expect a very clean frontier between nodata areas and valid areas. Whereas JPEG decompression artifacts in such a situation will result in intermediate values in a few pixels beyond the border.</p>
