International Society for Digital Earth: Video Competition and Joint Travel Award

================================================

This year, the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) [1] provides two attractive opportunities:
- ISDE Video Competition for Young people [2]. This Video competition is organized by the ISDE Young Scientist Committee. The 1st call is launched in 2015 and the winners will be announced in Canada, during the 9th ISDE Symposium [3].
- Joint Travel Award for Best Paper of the 9th Symposium of the International Society for Digital Earth [4]. The Young Scientist Committee of ISDE and the Centre of Excellence on Space Technology for Disaster Mitigation (CAS-TWAS SDIM) [5] are offering a travel award to a young scientist from a developing country to attend ISDE9 in Halifax, and also to a candidate for the SDIM training workshop organized in China in the year following.
