[Ica-osgeo-labs] Certification ideas needed

Thanks Phillip for organising the telemeeting and all who participated.

There is definitely great opportunity for exploring Open Source Geo Certification and we need to build upon the excellent work done by Arnulf and others on this. 

The main question i have is  How can this be made global ? . For example GISP is mostly North America if i understand correctly. What about the requirements/needs for Europe or other regions?

Lene- please contact the QGIS community who are working on the certification ideas (it was pity they couldnt attend the tele meeting) and it will be good if we can provide them support and ideas for this. Maybe the International QGIS event at at Copenhagen might be a great opportunity to explore more ideas on this as both educators and developers will be there.

If any others are interested to contribute to this, please send your ideas in.
