Dear colleagues,

I was invited to deliver a keynote for the EuroGeo 2017 conference "Key Challenges in Geographical Education"[1] in Amsterdam last week and had the opportunity to meet and discuss ideas with some amazing colleagues from the International Geographical Union (IGU) in the sidelines.

IGU is an international , non-governmental, professional organization devoted to the development of the discipline of Geography. Their details are at http://igu-online.org

They are a very active community doing many important work and closely following GeoForAll developments. They missed the early move advantage that ICA, ISPRS and others did on Open Principles in Education but i believe they are a key community to collaborate for the future. So i have now reached out to IGU colleagues globally and we will start ideas for expanding our collaborating with them. I will keep you all updated.

Best wishes,

Suchith
