Mar 2, 2018 12:00 PM EST at:

There is a new world of disruptive technologies that will change everyone’s world in the coming years. In this context, this seminar will focus on “platforms” to showcase data and knowledge services from a range of institutions around the world. It will showcase a new version of “Spatial Agent” – an exciting free public-domain World Bank App to bring together on-demand thousands of free, public-domain spatial data and analytical services (from in-situ and earth observation sources and also live cloud computing services – representing work from UN, NASA, NOAA, ESA, World Bank, Universities, and a thousands of other sources) on mobile phones and tablets. Check out a growing world of free data, analysis, and web resources for any development sector using this App! The App has done all the hard work so you can begin to effortlessly navigate this complex exploding world of free spatial data and analytical services! The presentation will also introduce a new paradigm of interactive e-books on a range of topics that bring together text, videos, photos, interactive atlases, storymaps, and a range of exciting new data visualization applications.
