Students with sufficient experience may choose to complete the graduate certificate with MAP 672, MAP 673 and a more advanced class in web mapping (MAP 675, Collaborative Geovisualization<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnewmapsplus.uky.edu%2Fnew-maps-plus-programs-and-online-courses%23map675&data=02%7C01%7Cjeff.levy%40uky.edu%7C649efeae7ccf42c8599208d5c288e267%7C2b30530b69b64457b818481cb53d42ae%7C0%7C0%7C636628815526205894&sdata=FXB4Wm8thRgY0I5h0Eu%2BEKtNl%2Biz7CNoF7bpOQyzwzw%3D&reserved=0>). All courses are completely online and run for 10-week terms with the next start date on July 9th.  The application deadline for the upcoming Summer term is June 24th.  GRE scores are not required.
Also newly offered this Summer, MAP 701: The History of Critical Cartography, a special 2-hour course that outlines key moments and arguments in the history of cartography with particular attention to advent of digital mapping and GIScience.
