This is so cool. WOW ! I was thinking that could be used in my GEO 100 class - World Regional Geography. So I would be willing to beta test any lessons. etc.<br>

<div dir="ltr">Colleagues, especially in Africa GeoForAll nodes,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I've continue to have discussions with Thane Richard, the COO of the "Outernet" platform [1]. An introductory video is here [2].</div>
<div>Thane just told me they have been granted temporary access from an existing satellite provider over Africa to stream a large data stream (I think 100 GB) and they are looking for content to stream.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>1) Content to stream?</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I think we should come up with a set of software and educational material. For instance, could we stream the QGIS and the MOOC course content your team created Phil? Or other ideas?</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>2) Would one or more of our nodes in Africa be willing to try and implement an Outernet receiver to test out the receipt process of this? </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Cheers,</div>
<div>Charlie</div>
