<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:36pt"><span style="color:black">We are pleased to inform you that a regional Research Data Alliance (RDA) workshop will take place
<b>on 25 June 2015</b> in Athens, Greece, with the presence of its Secretary General, Mark Parsons, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA. RDA builds the social and technical bridges that enable open sharing of data across technologies, disciplines, and countries.
The main objective of the RDA regional workshop is on one hand to present the RDA initiative, its main activities and working groups along with their initial outputs and on the other hand to investigate the engagement of groups from South Eastern Europe, the
Mediterranean and Caucasus regions in RDA. <br>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:36pt">The workshop will take place at the
<a href="http://divanicaravelhotel.com/map.html" target="_blank">Divani Caravel hotel</a> and will be a full day event (9am-5pm most probably). It will include the following sessions:<br>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:36pt"><i>Note that for the second and third sessions, we would like to ask data experts, especially outside Greece, with active participation in RDA Working/Interest Groups or in an another activity closely related
<b>to come forward with short proposals for presentations</b> including a short abstract and a short CV (1-2 paragraphs each) .
<b>The deadline for submitting your interest is the 2nd of June 2015.</b></i></p>
