However, I continue to feel that we want to move toward a system that allows for:</div><div><br></div><div>1) the uploading of modular content -- the unit should be "module" rather than a full course, but with a mechanism to provide a full course of modules. This would allow a "buffet" style of resource consumption.</div><div><br></div><div>2) the ability to upload source code rather than pdfs, to allow for the creation of new derivative works (e.g., translations, releases of new versions, etc.)</div><div><br></div><div>Does this one provide those functions? </div><div><br></div><div>One simple step forward for us would be for each lab to start putting their educational (source) content up and linked to their lab website, and we use the OSGeo educational search engine [1] to link to these materials?</div><div><br></div><div>I continue to try and get a grant that might fund some work on the next version of our educational repository - it could be to use a system like this one, or it could be something else. We really need a GeoForAll "project" effort to figure out the right strategy. I came across this website called Share my Lesson <a href="https://sharemylesson.com" target="_blank">https://sharemylesson.com</a> . The site has more than 900,000 registered users, and all submissions are either licensed as CC BY-NC-SA or CC BY-NC-ND. Originally
launched by American Federation of Teachers and TES Global back in 2012. Looks like a great way to collaborate for our spatial literacy plans .<br>
