<p class="MsoNormal">There is less than one week to apply for the Winter 2017 term of the New Maps Plus program. This program is a series of three online graduate courses focused on online and open source mapping solutions, JavaScript programming, and cartographic
design for the web.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="http://newmapsplus.uky.edu/map671-introduction-new-mapping-syllabus">MAP 671 – Intro to New Mapping</a> - focuses on open source desktop GIS workflow for web production.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="http://newmapsplus.uky.edu/map672-programming-web-mapping-syllabus">MAP 672 – Programming for Web Mapping</a> - introduces students to JavaScript, HTML and CSS and is perfect for those who have work experience in desktop GIS, but
have not yet begun web mapping. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="http://newmapsplus.uky.edu/map673-syllabus">MAP 673 – Design for Interactive Web Mapping</a> - integrates the principles of geographic representation and web programming in order for students to develop high-quality interactive
web maps.<o:p></o:p></p>
