<font face="Verdana">FOSS4G-North America (FOSS4G-NA) organizes an academic track that will run with the regular FOSS4G-NA tracks. FOSS4G-NA invites original research contributions on all aspects of open-source or open standard-based geospatial software and
its application. Submissions focusing on emerging geospatial research topics, such as big data, linked data, UAVs, the Internet of Things, and solving real-world problems are particularly encouraged. All types of papers are welcome, such as on results achieved,
case studies, work in progress, and demos. </font></p>
