<span style="font-size:11.0pt" lang="EN-US">With this workshop, the organizers want to bring together researchers from different disciplines investigating various SDI-related topics and issues to discuss their ongoing research projects. In the past years, they
 believe there was a lack of initiatives enabling and facilitating collaboration and exchange of knowledge and experiences among SDI researchers, so they hope to (re-)establish a community of SDI researchers.</span><br>
<br>
Some of the experiences from this cmmunity might be worth sharing in this forum, thereby help also reflecting of what SDI research means today - and might mean in the future.<br>
