<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">We are happy to announce that the OSGeo UN Committee launched yesterday the <span>OSGeo UN Committee Educational Challenge [1], thanks also to the support of Boundless [2], who is sponsoring one of the three challenges.</span></p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"><span>Two challenges are related to the UN Open GIS Initiative [to know more about that,look here 3, 4, 5], the last one is more general.</span></p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"><span>Deadline for submitting the proposals is April 30, 2018. Thanks to all people contributing in creating this challenge.</span></p>
