etc to run student competitions in your regions. </font><br>

<p>May I request colleagues to come forward from different regions (esp. Africa ) to please run GIS competitions for students . It does require lot of efforts and work but is a great way to acknowledge the contributions of students. <span style="font-size:12pt">I
understand that GeoForAll</span><span style="font-size:12pt"> </span><span style="font-size:12pt">is</span><span style="font-size:12pt"> </span><span style="font-size:12pt">this year </span><span style="font-size:12pt">aim</span><span style="font-size:12pt">ing </span><span style="font-size:12pt"> </span><span style="font-size:12pt">for
6 student </span><span style="font-size:12pt">competitions (max. 500 USD awards per competition), so please take initiative to organise a student competition in your region.</span><span style="font-size:12pt"> </span></p>

skills of U.S. undergraduate students. Competing students will create a project that utilizes geospatial technology to address a real-world problem.
