(submitted documents in PDF format). <br>
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Topics</span></strong> include, but are not limited to: spatial analysis and statistics, geographic visualization and visual analytics, virtual and augmented reality, cyber GIS, open geospatial science,
computational movement analysis, complex systems analysis, AI and machine learning methods for geographical research, Agent-based modelling, cellular automata and geosimulation, geospatial uncertainty, spatial data mining and applied geocomputation.</span></p>

will run in conjunction with GeoComputation 2019, on 18th September 2019, and is now open for abstract submission.

<a href="https://www.otago.ac.nz/geocomputation/programme-and-speakers/otago707650.html#workshops" id="LPlnk286767" class="OWAAutoLink" previewremoved="true">
Spatial Data Science with Python (PySAL)</a>, also running on 18<sup>th</sup> September, led by Prof. Sergio Rey (University of California, Riverside).</span></p>

with early bird rates of NZ$650 full registration and NZ$400 student registration (to July 12th). Options to register for the Spatial Data Science workshop and NZGRC (at a discounted rate) will be live in a few days.</span></p>

<p style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif; color:black">Queenstown is the stunning setting for this GeoComputation conference, nestled in the Southern Alps of New Zealand on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. It is a popular base for
all sorts of outdoor recreation: walking (locally, “tramping”), biking and at this time of year, the late ski season. It is also the “adventure capital of the world” for those after bungee jumping and white water rafting thrills.</span></p>
<p style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif; color:black"> </span></p>
<p style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif; color:black">The <a href="https://www.otago.ac.nz/geocomputation/venue-and-accommodation/index.html" id="LPlnk151839" class="OWAAutoLink" previewremoved="true">Rydges Lakeland Resort
Hotel</a> will be hosting the conference, where a block of rooms has also been reserved for conference delegates to book. There are plenty of alternative <strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">accommodation</span></strong> options too, as the
conference is 5 minutes walk away from the town centre. <strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Travel</span></strong>-wise, Queenstown is accessible, having direct air links to the main international airport hubs of Christchurch and Auckland
as well as major Australian cities. There are also good road links from Christchurch, with a daily bus service. </span></p>
