[Geomoose-users] Opacity on an individual layer within map file

Is it possible to change the transparency for an individual layer within the
.map file?

 

I have an "Areas of intrest" map file that links to several layers.  I would
like a couple of them to have a higher transparency than the other layers.  I
tried using the opacity keyword, however, it did not make the selected layers
see though.
