[Geomoose-users] Aerial photo mapfile [Scanned]

The first thing you should do is use gdalinfo.exe to work out if your
Mapserver install has support for the sid image file.

 

Gdalinfo -formats.

 

Should give you:

 

MrSID (ro): Multi-resolution Seamless Image Database (MrSID).

 

If you see that line you should be able to open Sid files 

 

Eg.

 

LAYER

       NAME "My Sid"

       DATA "images/mysid.sid"

       TYPE RASTER

       MINSCALE 0

       MAXSCALE 100000

       STATUS DEFAULT

       DUMP TRUE

 END
