[Geomoose-users] Special characters - "sh", "ch", "zh" - Central European symbols

Hello,

I have a problem with getting the queries from the identify tool properly formatted. The data is formatted in Windows-1250 code table and labeling in Mapserver works perfect with setting "ENCODING 'Windows-1250'". On the places, where the symbols for "ch", "sh" and "zh" are located in the database, I get some strange output characters.

I did a search in the geomoose mailing list archives and I found that someone had such problems with "umlauts", but I can't find the solution except to change the original data in tables to use "c", "s" and "z" and their uppercase equivalents to avoid the problem.

One more thing: If I open the result in a new window, those characters work perfectly, however they do not in the div "content_results_form".

I will be very glad to have a solution as this is probably wide-European problem since we have so many languages and "strange" characters :)

Thank you,
Matej Serc
