[Geomoose-users] 2008 FSA Air Photo

Folks,
I followed this thread because I saw 2008 FSA Air Photo in the title. I talked to Pete Olson about how he opened the JP2 files when we received them and he used the Kakadu drivers directly (in Linux). To use in GDAL they would have to be compiled in.

Is there a reason you don't just use the LMIC Image Service, http://geoint.lmic.state.mn.us/cgi-bin/wms? to get the FSA 2008 photos? We have natural color and color-infrared being served.

I've attached a document that we sent to the FSA about LMIC's experiences with reading their files.

That is planned: http://www.lmic.state.mn.us/chouse/airphoto_usda_2008.html

Ok, this has become a challenge. Now I've got to try to open these.
