[Geomoose-users] Rotating Parcel Labels

Currently I have parcels labeled in the center and the text is horizontal
but it would be better to have the parcel ID labels be rotated according to
the layout of the parcel.  Has anybody figured how to accomplish this?  I
know I can rotate the labels with an angle field in the shapefile but it
would take forever to calculate the angle for each parcel.

 

I know this is more of a Mapserver question but I would like to see if
anybody has accomplished it here.
