Bill Harbour bharbour at bcbe.org

How would I go about getting the map coordinates of a geocoded point (the point is a pop up)?

Any suggestions??

I must be doing something wrong since searching any of the keywords individually returns zero results.

1) From this form: http://sourceforge.net/search/?group_id=160935&type_of_search=mlists

2) I fill in query: Geomoose, select both mailing lists (or individually)

3) fill in the start date 2010-01-01 and end date 2010-08-09

4) click the Search button.

Zero results.

I've tried changing the query to identify.php, identify, openlayers, etc...

Maybe there's a different search form I should be using?

Seems to be working, but not very friendly. It appears that it is only searching the body of the emails (not the subject lines) and it does not make partial word matches. So in the recent exchanges on the Identify tool, so if you search for "Identify", it does not see "identify.php" as a match. I tried using a wildcard in the search, but that was rejected as a syntax error.

Do we need to see if there are options to loosen up the search in SourceForge.

Anyone else have trouble doing a search on the mailing list articles at:
http://sourceforge.net/search/?group_id=160935&type_of_search=mlists

I've tried several different methods filling in the form and clicking the search button but I don't get any results. Including search for keyword "MAP", select the user group from the list and inputting both dates.... nada.

I couldn't get it to work either. And I don't think Google is able to index the
mailing list. Perhaps we should mirror/archive it through Nabble?

Looks like there is some problem with SourceForge. If I don't select either list, it searches both lists and works just fine. If I select either one or both list, I get the same results as Brent and you...strange.

Now that I've got the geocode working, I'm trying to automatically do an identify with the coordinates returned from the geocode and am having no luck.

What's the best way to get the coordinates to the identify service from geocode.php? Do I do a startservice in geocode.php??? If so, how's that formatted?

Tnx,
