Dan and Len:

I did add true, but I have a problem with the extents that are taller than wide. The extents that are wider than tall work fine.

I believe now that my problem is in defining the scales which are ground units per pixel resolution. Does this relate to screen resolution???

My address-school zone locator application is looking good. However, there's a few things I need to clean up.

Keep in mind as I explain this that my application is in Alabama State Plane West, FIPS201, Feet.

Coordinate display...

The coordinate display shows the correct x,y in Alabama State Plane except for the last 5 digits after the decimal point. Those don't change as I move the cursor across the map!?!?!

Also, I've set 7 high school zones in the Jump To: box. The coordinate pairs of the high school zone bounding areas were found using ArcGIS and I know their correct. But Geomoose either zooms inside the bounding area, or a good bit outside of it.

I've probably missed setting the coordinate system in some file, but I have no idea what that might be.

I've notice several post in the list regarding coordinates and I'm looking over those.

Thanks,

okay, I really need to work today instead of constantly answer emails ... but
here goes:

1) Coordinate display is a mystery.
2) The "jump to" are you sure you've got enough scales to properly fit the
boxes? *And* are the coordinates in MINX,MINY,MAXX,MAXY pairs? I've recently
discovered some software doesn't always honor this convention.

For the jump to, you might also try setting:

true

In the Mapbook. That will allow it to jump between the scale stops.
