Thank you for the reply. I am working locally (http://localhost/intexp/geomoose2.html#) for now as my site is down. I also serendipitously commented the following lines out and the maps and tools showed up, but this was not a consistent workaround as they will not show up this morning.

But I thought these lines were required in order to compile the all javascript and php together? A bit confused here but any suggestions are welcomed. Meanwhile I will be double checking on my html whether it is well formed- fiddle with it a bit.

    Check the html generated by the query results.  IE likes well formed
    HTML.
