[Geomoose-users] how to pass a static legend graphic?

I have a few layers (WMS consumed through MapServer), where the legend
graphic does not show.  I have static images of the legends available
for each of these layers.  I'm digging through the code, and I see in
compiled.js there is some mechanism for putting in a static legend for a
layer.  But I can't quite figure out how to make it work.  Can anyone
advise on how to do that?
