[Geomoose-users] Fade/unfade controls on by default?

[Bistrais, Bob]

No caching as far as I’m aware.  I did have the layer settings for legend on, but when I removed that, the legend did not show even though the configuration-level parameter was set to show the legend.  And no joy with the fade controls.

 

But, I’m not going to put too much time into it.  I’m already dabbling with our 2.6 release candidate, and the fade/legend controls act as expected there.

The setting on the individual layer will over-ride it.  Those setting should work.  I don't have a test instance but the code looks correct.  Are you sure there's no caching going on?

	Hmm, I tried that, but no effect.  What’s more, as an experiment, I set layer_controls.legend.on to false, but the legends still show.  So something must be overriding these parameters?

		Is it possible to have the layer’s fade and unfade controls visible by default?  I know we can have legend data visible by setting show-legend=”true”.  But a user still needs to click the layer name to display the fade/unfade controls.  Can we have these display automatically, and if so, how?  GeoMoose 2.2, Oregon variant.
