[Geomoose-users] identify layers even if they are turned off

I've found an easy way to do this is to define the same layer twice- one time should have the desired transparency/opacity, and queryable=false, the other time it should be invisible, queryable=true, and not listed in the catalog so it is always on. May not be the most eloquent way of doing this, but since that invisible layer is always "on", you can always identify it.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] identify layers even if they are turned off

Hello

I was just wondering if it is possible to identify layers even if they are turned off. I am using 2.2 but I would like to know if 2.6 can identify layers that are turned off as well.

Thanks
