[Geomoose-users] Status of MS4W and GeoMOOSE

Bob and others,

At this time, I do not have a strong preference regarding MS4W or any other distributions. MS4W is a good platform to learn GeoMOOSE on because it is easy to work with. However, there have not been any [security] updates in a while so I don't know if we would be better off looking elsewhere.

Thanks

Sincerely,

Mark,

What's your preference? I played around with MS4W a few times setting up some systems for other folks. I have not looked at any of the new flavors of things as of yet. I myself tend to leave things run unless they break (and can't be easily repaired) or some new capability is required.

Bobb

Hello,

It seems that there has been some chatter about people abandoning MS4W in favor of other distributions. I was just wondering what the developers stance is on this issue. Is GeoMOOSE going to stick with MS4W (for windows) or will it also go another direction?

Thanks

Sincerely,
