Cool! Two options:

1. Add a "GROUP" to your LAYERs in the Mapfile Then refer to the GROUP name in <layer ...>
2. Change the catalog <layer> src to "uconnOrtho2016/layer1" to "uconnOrtho2016/layer1;uconnOrtho2016/layer2" (in GM3, GM2 uses colons and not semi-colons).
